The International Commission for Optics (ICO) highlights TecnOpto outreach activities during the International Year of Light
The ICO Newsletter of July 2016 highlights the outreach activities we developed in the International Year of Light to promote Optics in secondary schools. This initiative has been possible thanks to the first ICO prize for the promotion of optics and photonics that was awarded to the Spanish Society of Optics (SEDOPTICA). This award provided the funds to acquire photonics educational kits that were distributed in different schools all over Spain.
